Marathon Galaxy2R Two Ram Horizontal Baler
Galaxy2R Two Ram balers have a separate ram for compressing recyclable material against a fixed wall and a second ram for ejecting the finished bale. Galaxy2R Two Ram balers are available in a wide variety of sizes to fit many baling applications including scrap dealers, material recovery facilities (MRFs), recycling centers, distributors centers, large paper and plastic processors, and much more. The feature designs and innovations not seen in any other two-ram baler in the U.S. market.
Marathon TIEger Auto-Tie Baler
TIEger Series open-end auto-tie balers have features not found on other auto-tie balers. The patented gear twister is the most exciting technology to hit the baling industry. This tier uses highly efficient gear twisters, which means there are no twister hooks and no pigtails. This amounts to more than a 10% reduction in wire consumption and related costs. The gear twisters along with the adjustable wire positioners and adjustable need positioners make this tier the most reliable on the market.
Marathon Stealth Baler
Marathon’s Stealth baler is the most economical horizontal baler specifically designed for baling OCC. The Stealth is capable of baling 2-3 tons of OCC per hour. The Stealth has a large 60″ x 46″ feed opening, 8-10 bales per day throughput, and bale wires can be inserted and tied through the door or sides.
Marathon Gemini Series Balers
The Marathon Gemini 3560 and Gemini-Xtreme balers are moderate duty, closed-end horizontal balers that allow you to process a variety of material such as PET, aluminum or steel cans, paper, plastics, OCC, newsprint, and similar materials. Because bales are tied vertically, no fluffing or preconditioning is required. An above floor or pit conveyor are optional with particular baler.
Marathon Atlas Series Balers
The ATLAS Series is the most affordable, highly efficient, mid-sized balers for non-ferrous scrap. With heavy duty and stress engineered construction, the ATLAS offers superior size to weight ratio to meet the high demands of scrap baling applications. The specially designed bolt-on and replaceable body and ram shear blades provide optimum performance and ease of maintenance which eliminates the pre-cutting of most materials. Facilities baling between one to three tons of aluminum, copper, or steel cans will drastically benefit by using the ATLAS baler.
Marathon Closed End Balers
Closed End balers are ideal for multi-material processing facilities. The ram packs the material in the compaction chamber and the bale is ejected through the end. The end gate operates hydraulically. Closed End Horizontals are mid-sized balers that process a wide variety of material and can produce up to 20 tons of OCC in a typical day’s work shift. Several models are available, including balers with charge box opening lengths of 30″ to 60″ and motors ranging from 20 to 30 HP.

Marathon Side-Eject Balers
Marathon was the first to develop and remains the only equipment company to offer the unique Side-Eject Baler. The horizontal bale is designed for applications requiring multi-material capability with a medium throughput capacity. A benefit of the Side-Eject model is it’s small footprint for facilities that are tight on space. This baler ejects the bale from the side of the unit and is easily picked up with a forklift or pallet jack.
